Robert Kelly

Robert was from Knotty Ash, Liverpool, but enlisted in Maghull into the Royal Field Artillery. He served in the Tank Corps, operating a six pounder gun. Moving at under 4mph, tanks were targets for enemy artillery, and Robert was killed in 1918 during the Battle of Amiens, France. He is buried in nearby Heath Cemetery.
