Private James Mason

James lived with his parents William and Jane in Liverpool Road, Maghull, before volunteering for the 7th Battallion, King’s (Liverpool Regiment). He was killed during fighting to take the village of Guillemont, on the Somme, in 1916. He has no known grave, and his name is among those on the Thiepval memorial.
